Focus on: Lisa Congdon

collection a day & uppercase

I got my pre-ordered copy of A Collection a Day by Lisa Congdon - published by the lovely Uppercase - a few days ago, and went gaga over it immediately. It is so perfectly adorable, sitting in its collectible tin & being so wonderfully small and rectangular. The pages just pop at you with collecting joy! I loved following Lisa's 'A Collection a Day' blog - did so right at the beginning, all the way to the end, so when the book was available for pre-order, I jumped at it. I admire Lisa's design aesthetic (and her collections!) as well as everything Uppercase does.

note: each link above takes you to a different website :)

an animated gif I did of me flipping through the pages!
(you may need to click on the image so you can see it animate - I suck at animating things!)

Here's a few of my favourite pieces from her Etsy shop, too:

If that wasn't enough, have you seen Lisa's dog Wilfredo?

My Handsome
{source: Lisa's Flickr} I see a bit of my Gracie in him (her Chihuahua bits!).

There's a ridiculous amount of Lisa-related content I could share with you (like her fabulous vintage-tinged home decor!), but I will stop at the cute dog.
last thought: A Collection a Day is a happy little book, which is beautifully (and wonderfully uniquely) designed. So happy to add it to my shelf of art books!

I think I'm going to have to get myself a copy of that book. :)
    Thanks for sharing.

  5. I have met Wilfredo nose to snout. & I can attest that he is even dreamier in person. I mean in dog.
