Thrifted: big beautiful bold art

a big beautiful daisy painting

I am so utterly in love with this freshly thrifted piece of original art. I am pretty darn sure this is from the 1960s era, but it's hard to say. It's signed 'GREGG'. It was immediate smittenhood when I first laid eyes upon it, but I did some serious contemplation before bringing it home. Am I ever glad I listened to myself! It's absolutely stunning, hanging in my bedroom across from my bed. Amazingly, the colours in the painting match the colours in my curtains. Now I'm thinking of painting my bedroom walls a tinted white (palest of yellows) to bring out the sunshine of the daisies even more. Best $5 I've spent in a while!
If anyone knows anything about the artist, I'd love to hear!
